DIAL81 “Boxcar Portal” Release Party @ Northern Lights

My GF and I just got back from the show and had a great time.  I think Northern Lights might be one of my favorite bars in the D.  It’s low key as hell, and the vibe is always healthy.  Big ups to some people I haven’t seen in a while like Horse, Kyle, & Mike Styz.

Every Tuesday @ Northern Lights is THINGS DONE CHANGED;  the weekly hip hop night with Uncle Paulie on the 1s & 2s with assistance by Equad and other guest DJs.  Btw, the Lights has the best bathroom I’ve ever seen in the day and is a must for any avid drug user.

We had to dip before DIAL81 actually performed tonight, but caught performances by  Skrapz and Mobil;  both who played new music, and I haven’t caught Mobil in a while and he made me want to dance as much as one can.  A.M. just recorded a song with Skrapz for his upcoming release that will be finished soon, and you can also catch him on Living A Nightmare… when it drops.

First off, I wanted to also thank our good ol’ buddy Signa for making it out to check out his boys in Chicago, and also take pictures of our show @ Goodbar while we were in Chicago.  I didn’t mean to omit his name and hope he didn’t check the page until now.  Signa lived @ my house in 2003, and was an original member of A.M. (Yes, we started as a trio.)  So big ups to you my friend…we’re still waiting on your photos!

Suburban Bread

Madio AKA Text just released his first official solo album entitled, you guessed it, Suburban Bread.  I produced a song on there called “Corona & Limon” and apparently it was his first solo joint ever.  It’s also the only song on the album not produced by AKA his long time partner of POD MUSIC.  Prior to going solo Madio was in the group VeRb.  Anyways, you can check him out at www.myspace.com/madioakatext or scoop his CD off of CDbaby.  We’ve worked on a few songs together, and are already starting his next project.  Support this guy.

LAST BREATH
