Happy Thanksgiving

|

Happy Thanksgiving from… work.

damnit, thats right, im at work now.  I know Beans did a stint in the morning at his 9 to 5, so he feels my pain.  I just don’t understand why places are open during a time like this.  The place I work for is losing money by being open and paying all of us double-time.  What the hell do I know, I’m just a rapper.

As Beans has done an extensive, and may I add, amazing job at keeping you informed about the process of the album “Living A Nightmare, Chasing The Dream”, I figured I’d give you my thoughts:

The album is still a work in process, but its hardly even work.  It’s fun as hell.  Charlie and I are comming up with the best music we ever have, and after every new song is recorded we look at eachother in disbelief.  Its an awesome feeling.  This album will be The Cat’s Pajama’s.  I have no doubt that all of you will feel the same, and if you don’t… I don’t like or respect you and your opinions.  I’m kidding… but I’m not, okay I am.  “To each thier own” except your’s because it’s sucks! Ha.

Happy Thanksgiving and have a good Holiday Season.

Stay productive.

Keeping It Moving

Eddie Dublin & Me getting hammered.

We’ve been in the studio writing/recording a lot in the past few weeks.  Have a couple of new songs already in the can, and are continuing to record as many new songs as possible.  We’ve got a nice supporting cast playing roles in our album and I’m greatful for the fact that some of our hard work has payed off.  It’s kind of a trip to be working with some of your favorite artists/producers/whatever and gaining their respect, not to mention a small, but growing fanbase.  While others haven’t even heard a song and already dismissed you.  I swear that Michigan might as well be on another planet.  Nonetheless, we’re going to keep it moving and keep doing us.

On a side note, the ‘Big Dog’ (my ‘99 Chevy Venture) is officially taking a shit I’m in the market for a new car which is interesting.  Maybe I’ll post a picture of my car when I get it, but you’d probably be able to find one just like it in any Target parkling lot.

Anyways, here’s to ending a chapter in A.M.’s history.  This beer is for you BIG DOG.  You will be missed…

Dirtymitten.com & Top of the Pops!

Surf over to www.dirtymitten.com where you can check out a late review of “Most Dangerous Game.”  It wasn’t a shitty review, and that’s what matters most.  They’re doing hip-hop proud over there by keeping readers up on the latest happenings in the game, so stop over.   Also, check out www.detroitrap.com b/c they’re helping to promote the scene much so, and you can find some entertaining reads over there as well.

READY TO BLOW SON!!!!

For the months of September to October, A.M. has charted two different songs on college radio.  I Just Wanna Drink My Beer is #7 at University of Detroit Mercy (UDM 102.3FM)  Another song, Knomad’s Land (Currently unreleased) hit number #17 at The Zone Radio (HFCC, 89.3FM) and is climbing.  It’s not Hot97, but any play is good play;  right ladies?

Odds are that Knomad’s Land will be on “Living a Nightmare…” and if you’ve seen us live recently we’ve been playing it as well with our Fresh B-Boy Stance to accompany it.  We’re hard at work on our latest and to be honest, probably could’ve released two albums based on the amount of material we have;  but we want to give everyone the best because we are the BEST!  Who?  A Fucking M.  We’re working with a lot of great producers, but are keeping our lips seeled for now.  Just know that we’re going to release something real.

We’ll be updating strong so check into the site weekly and there should be something.  Whether it be A.M. related, or just another anecdote about Tony’s car, check in for something new.  The website is coming along nicely regardless of if Robbie decides to tell us or not;  he’s doing one hell of a job.
