VIDEO IS FINISHED
Thanks to ourselves, John Schweitzer, Robbie, the heat, an unreliable 60s Caddy, and some extras our video for ‘Rescue’ just wrapped shooting. Besides sweating our asses off, the shoot went great and we have some excellent footage for John to work with. Stay tuned for our supersized VLOG10 which is the making of the video. We have some potential opportunities coming up for us, but don’t want to unveil anything until we know the outcome. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. Holler.
No commentsShooting our video for ‘Rescue’ tomorrow and Tuesday.
Thanks to all the people who came to the Berkley Saturday night. We got some footage for our video shoot, as well as rocked the spot. Special thanks to our good friend Lisa who helped out in the video she’s a real sport.
We’re also going to be shooting a making of the video which will be VLOG10, and the preview of our single ‘Rescue.’ The VLOG will be an extended version so you can watch us die from the heat.

Check your boys A.M., Skrapz, & D.Allie out @ our fav place to play. Not to mention favorite bartenders Christian and Evan. Pdog is spinning the best and D.Allie will be having his live album for sale.
Also, A.M. will be shooting a portion of our video for ‘Rescue’ which is the first single off ‘Living A Nightmare, Chasing The Dream.’ Cameras will be rolling for most of the night so make sure you’re not too sloppy. Hope to see everyone out there.
I have no idea why VLOG9 isnt the featured vid, but its up on FB so catch it there. Robbie is also coming home (he lives in Utah) which will be great since its been six months. Robbie does our website and keeps us frequently updated on all sorts of shit. One of my best friends; it was cool to try to set up a show while he’s in town.
Working some business stuff out before we are set to release the album. We want everything to be settled and give the release a proper jump.
Thanks for everyone who’s interested in keeping up with us and listening to our music.

No commentsBlack Milk @ Magic Stick
Last nite Black Milk killed the Magic Stick with funk band Will Sessions as his backdrop. Will Sessions is known for the infamous monthly funk nite that goes down with DJ Frank Raines.
The show was incredible and the vibe was great. There were so many different kinds of people there for the show and it gave me a little faith in Detroit’s bismal, unsupportive scene. Saw several familiar faces and the love was being felt.
I’m curious why more Detroit shows arent’t like this. I know Black Milk is holding the torch for the D right now, and Will Sessions are doing it big too, but this show’s vibe wasn’t much different than the average Detroit show except it started on time, and there were 500 people there. I hope this is a step in the right direction for the scene.
Yo yo
thanks to everyone who came to the old miami last night to check A.M. & Madio out while bidding farewell to our friend Marcus who’s moving to Germany. The show was a lot of fun, and ghettoblaster has never tasted so delicious.

Our latest vlog of ours has a preview of the title track “Living A Nightmare” off the album. We’re just doing the videos ‘one take’ style, so what you see is what you get for the most part. Then you can realize how utterly hilarious Tony is. Pass us along to your people please! Check out previous Vlogs in our video section. These can also be seen on Facebook search Abrasive Method.
SHOW
We’re bidding Marcus Weller farewell @ the Old Miami Sat. May 2nd in Detroit. $5, 21+ Yeah, we just played the spot, but who gives a squeeze so we’re back. We brought along Madio aka TexT to open the show. I’ve done some production for him including “Corona & Limon” which is on his latest album Suburban Bread. He also just launched his website www.mynameismadio.com peep it.
The Old Miami is located @ 3930 Cass Ave in Detroit. $5, 21+
A.M.
Word has it Skrapz has some rough art for us to look at. I’m waiting for him to toss it in my inbox, but won’t post a pic of anything until it’s up. We’ve established a cool concept to go with the album and are sure it will look lovely upon fruition.
FINALE-A Pipe Dream & A Promise
Finale just dropped his new album, and it’s pretty fly. His backpack style of rap (he’d probably be pissed I said that) was hard to get into @ first, but I’ve been bumping the album and am really feeling it. “Issues” “Jumper Cables” & “Paid Homage” are the highlights. The latter is a tribute to J Dilla over a re-interpolation of “Fall In Love” by Slum Village. He did a great job with the song, and articulated as human as possible. Cop his album he’s nationwide. Features production from Black Milk, Ta’Raach, J Dilla, Oddisee, Apollo Brown (who did 2 beats for our album), and more.
Holler.
